A sumptuous and elegant Patchouli is the protagonist of this ‘rock-chic’ creation.
A sparkling spicy opening then reveals leather and tobacco, all infused in iris butter. It represents a wild yet carefree atmosphere, sophisticated yet sensual, elegant with originality.

The making of Sticky Fingers

This perfume sticks not just to your fingers, but perversely sticks to your mind.
The perfume revolves around Patchouli, in a decadent and sumptuous interpretation. The opening immediately puts on the table the powerful weapons: an intense, almost boozy patchouli and leather. It is somehow wild and carefree, dangerously dressed in leather but playful. The dry-down gets softer and more complex, thanks to a dirty iris butter which makes the whole atmosphere smoother and more intriguing. Don’t get fooled by iris, no romance is going on here: tobacco leaves are rolled, the leather jacket is eventually thrown somewhere, and the delightful and tempting smell of skin finally emerges.
Many intertwined reasons and personal mental associations led me to this creation and its title.
This perfume is conceived to be as tempting as chocolate stuck all over your fingers and you cannot help but licking them. Mind you: this is not a gourmand fragrance, and licking your fingers is a metaphor referring to other kind of irresistible temptations.
One major reference is surely the iconic album from 1971. I love rock, and the 70s for what they brought in music, but especially, I love that album cover.
It accompanied me for a long while, as a vinyl record shop just around the corner was displaying it on its window, and I was exposed to it every day.
That cover literally stuck to my mind, and when I started thinking about the mood of this perfume, I couldn’t help but thinking about that.

Magnificent Masterpiece … that, like the previous compositions, faithfully reflects Francesca’s Personality, Art and Fantastic Work: only the highest quality ingredients and her Alchemy take us to feel and enjoy “Liquid Emotions”…

I love this, reminiscent of Armani Rose dArabie but more mellow.Absolutely beautiful fragrance and just how I wanted it to smell.

This is one of my new favorite fragrances. I’m not sure what FB uses in the dry down of Sticky Fingers but is nothing short of amazing and lasts forever. 5 stars and highly recommended.

Ordered 6 samples and Sticky Fingers is my favorite one. When it had been released and I had read its description, I just knew I need it in my life. And I was right, it was love at first sniff. I discovered your fragrances thanks to Dana from A Nose Knows and I love your creations. I will purchase the full bottle on my birthday. Also love The Dark Side and Under My Skin. I need to try the other four I haven’t tried yet.

I had hopes that Sticky Fingers would reflect the the sense & mood of the Stones album & its era….and it really really does. A sexy, sticky, deep, dirty (in a good way) patchouli that lasts deep into the night. Don’t wear this around mom & pop. This is for that special one and/or those nights out..or even home alone. I love it!

Sticky Fingers was my first purchase from Francesca. I love how her perfumes tell a story to me. I get vibes of rain, chocolate, spices and leather.

It starts raining, we run and hide in a nearby chocolaterie. I throw my leather jacket over the chair. My daughter chooses spicy melted chocolate for us. Table next to us ordered cappuccino sprinkled with cinnamon and English shortbreads that hits our noses. They take out tobacco and make rollies. Smell of chocolate and slightly salty biscuits is everywhere. We laugh, not so bad it rained… scent stories.

An elegant, cosy patchouli with added dimensions of tobacco, resins, chocolate, leather, with musk and a hint of animalic castoreum. Soft and comforting rather than demanding. The patchouli here smells authentic rather than smothered in amber or vanilla, like so many other lesser patchouli fragrances. Highly recommended.

An absolute masterpiece, Francesca thank you for having you

Sticky Fingers continues to surprise me. On application it is a delight, but it develops throughout the day. It seems to increase its potency, gently reminding me of its presence, from early morning into the evening and beyond.

Simply beautiful, Work around Tabacco/Patchouly/Leather is so great. Maybe one of the “easiest” fragrance among the others (all tested through the sample set) in term of access but unique, very classy.
Huge French fan of your work

In the beginning the strength of the woodiness hit me very hard in the nose, almost like a shock. But once the perfume stayed on the skin for some time it started developing into more sweet notes. The woodiness was still there but it definitely became more subtle. The perfume is gorgeous, but I must say it is not for every nose – the scent is very specific to people who enjoy dark, strong, woody, almost masculine smells. I think the perfume can be very nicely layered with another more floral or more sweet scent, that would really balance the smell to a level of more people’s taste. So definitely if you like woody smells (but not that much to consider it as a stand alone smell), consider this perfume as an addition to your collection, which you can use for layering with other perfumes.
One thing I found as a downside is the packaging. For the price tag of the perfume you would expect a slightly more luxurious feel to the packaging…this was slightly disappointing.
Nonetheless, great perfume, definitely makes you curious about the rest of the scents by Francesca Bianchi.

First of all, I’ve to say, how lucky I consider myself that I came across Francesca’s scents a couple of weeks ago. I’ve always loved perfumes – ever since I was a little kid. And they were always more to me than just something, which makes me smell lovely.
Spraying something new on my skin and closing my eyes while taking the scent in, is always an adventure – because scents can evoke memories and transport me to other places. They let emotions rise in a way, which otherwise only music does. Ever since I read the first descriptions on this website, I felt that Francesca’s scents are developed in exactly the same spirit. Meanwhile, I tried seven of her scents – the last one being “Sticky Fingers”. It was love at first sniff! On my skin, it’s rigth away powdery and elegant in a care-free way. It’s sweet but not in a girly way – rather cosy and promising. The image, that came to my mind most prominently, was the one of sitting outside a parisian bistro on a sunny autumn-day…pain au chocolat in the middle of the day…a cup of black coffee…distant scent of smoke from a neighbouring table…ground, which is still a bit moist from a short period of rain about an hour ago…wearing a white shirt, slightly unbuttoned…a leather jacket…reading a good book. The overall feeling this scent creates for me is being totally at ease with one-self! I’ll definately order a full bottle – and take it to my next trip to Paris. Thanks, Francesca!

A seductive and sensual witches brew. Sticky Fingers is an intoxicatingly sexy fragrance perfect for an Autumn/winter evening scent.
Be warned you most love patchouli and potent scents as this fragrance is strong.
If you love Coromandel, Chergi, Ambre Sultan, Borneo 1834 or Musc Raveguer , you will absolutely love this!

Another masterpiece – again I am stunned not only by the incredibly intoxicating scent, but also the professionalism of the team! So very friendly and helpful – and the delivery was in Australia within A WEEK!!!!! I promise you, I will buy again and again! So this scent is this lingering, soft rock goddess, that slowly takes her leather jacket off to expose her super sexy silk strappy, that is clinging to her skin… heavy black boots meet chunky silver jewelry, that sweet patchouli will kiss your senses to linger on you with some sweet, musky reminder not to ever forget her… can you hear the bangles jingle?

I have not been this disappointed in a perfume in a very long time. This has nothing to do with patchouli. It smells exactly like granny’s Shalimar with a gigantic, repulsively slimy, dose of beaver musk. I’m gutted, I can say absolutely nothing in favor of this scent.

Un perfume muy agradable y sensual, aunque está catalogado como unisex en mi piel lo noto más masculino. Es un perfume bien balanceado, de las muestra que he probado es mi favorito. Compra a ciegas 100% recomendable.

Wow, cinnamon, iris, patchouli at a higher level! Persistent and lasting. One of my favorites!

  23. beerluc (verified owner)

I am very happy with this perfume, I like patchouli, so for me it is a success to find it in this interpretation.
The outfit is good, the job is well done, thank you very much.

  24. rachel.m.schulman (verified owner)

I’m not normally a fan of patchouli but this is gorgeous. It’s rough and scratchy in all the right ways. Got this as a sample with my order and it’s my next full bottle

  25. mu.90 (verified owner)

This is a master piece!! one of The best patchouli fragrance if not the best

  26. Maura (verified owner)

Fallen in love at the first sniff of the sample. That became true deep love during the chocolate buttery but never sweet drydown. As a person who adores butter, very dark chocolate, leather, and woods, besides Rolling Stones, rock concerts in small smoky clubs, and all that live sweaty energy, I couldn’t help but buying the full size immediately!

Grazie Francesca, ti ho scoperta da meno di un mese e ho già deciso che pian piano comprerò tutte le tue creazioni!

  27. tudor.bucur (verified owner)

    Double, double toil and trouble,
    Fire burn and caldron bubble.

It’s the fruity notes in the opening that are just a playful trick. It’s woody, polished, sweet but balanced. This is a patchouli iris, it has been done before, true, but with Francesca’s powdery iris, and rosy tart violet notes, it almost reminds me of Angel’s Dust at times and it definitely has the sexiness to stand up to the comparison. It’s woody, polished, sweet but balanced.
